A firm handhold for entering and exiting your Jeep

This pair of front grab handles adds a fixed grip point at the front pillar area. Solid aluminum bars and textured rubber grips provide a comfortable place to hold when climbing into or out of the cabin.

Includes Sport, Sahara and Rubicon models with the original mounting points shown.

Front driver and passenger positions only. For 2018 vehicles, confirm that your Wrangler is a JK/JKU, not a JL/JLU. This kit is not specified for Gladiator JT.

Construction and finish

Solid 3/4-inch aluminum alloy bars.
Textured rubber grip sleeves.
Black powder-coated finish.
Bolts into existing mounting holes; no drilling required.

2 short bolts and 2 long bolts.
2 short spacers and 2 long spacers.

Installation instructions

Tools: 13 mm socket and ratchet for the original bolts, plus the appropriate driver for the supplied hardware. Tools are not included.

Park the vehicle and identify the correct left and right handle. Check the handle angle against the mounting points before starting.
Remove the visor-side mounting bolt and the upper pillar bolt indicated in the illustration. Keep control of the side bolt while removing it so it does not fall inside the pillar.
Pass a short bolt through the handle and the matching spacer at the ceiling-side mounting point. Start it by hand and leave it partially threaded.
Pass the long bolt through the other handle mounting point and matching spacer into the pillar. Align the bolt with the original threaded hole and start it by hand before tightening.
Tighten the pillar-side bolt, then fully tighten the ceiling-side bolt. Make sure the shaped spacers sit flush against the handle. Follow any tightening specifications supplied with your kit; do not force a bolt that binds.
Repeat on the opposite side. Check that both handles are firmly mounted and that the sun visors and doors operate freely before use.
