Black US flag fuel-door upgrade

An aluminum-alloy outer cover and ABS housing replace the original fuel-door surround for a textured black exterior accent. The magnetic clasp holds the door closed without a key.

Selected version

Standard, non-locking US flag design. This listing contains no keyed lock or keys. It is an exterior door and housing assembly, not a replacement sealing fuel cap.

Vehicle compatibility

Jeep Wrangler JL/JLU, 2018–2026, 2-door and 4-door.
Includes Wrangler 4xe models with the matching factory fuel-filler housing.

Check the fuel-filler opening and original housing against the photos before ordering. Not for Wrangler JK/JKU or Gladiator JT.

Construction and package contents

Black aluminum-alloy cover with US flag design.
ABS base and magnetic closure.
One fuel-door assembly and one base rubber ring.
No drilling or cutting required.

Installation instructions

Use the instructions supplied with the assembly and your vehicle’s service guidance for trim and lamp removal.

Park safely, switch off the engine and clean around the fuel-filler area. Keep dirt out of the filler opening.
Access the original housing retaining tabs. Where rear access is needed, remove the adjacent tail lamp following the vehicle’s instructions; support the lamp and protect its wiring.
Carefully release the original housing tabs and withdraw the housing without pulling on the filler neck. Remove the original sealing fuel cap only if needed for clearance and keep it clean.
Fit the supplied rubber ring and align the new housing with the original opening. Press evenly until every retaining tab is fully seated; do not force or bend the tabs.
Reinstall the original sealing fuel cap and its tether as applicable. Refit any removed lamp and trim, then check the lamp operation.
Open and close the new door several times. Confirm the magnetic clasp closes properly, the housing sits securely and the original fuel cap remains accessible for refueling.

If the housing does not sit flush or a retaining tab will not engage, stop and check alignment before use.
